Inspired by Brancusi Bird in Space, I designed a pared back form, where the shade would flow into the stem, to create a simple unfettered form. The wall light has a wider shade, now made with a twirl of lampshade parchment. Gesso and gilded wall plate with natural painted stem. We only use natural organic paints, which we sand back and apply a coat
