It was a week of fog at the lake and in that dreamlike switch from winter to early spring the mist played tricks with reflections in and out of the water

The water oak is a food source for the Wood Duck that is prominent on the Georgia Coast

This painting was capturing the thought of nature sculpting out a shoreline through waves and wind, one element at a time over time. To this meaning, I too entered layers upon layers to create a mood a water covering the earth and in it's own way becoming one within it. A painting is only started by the artist and than is launched and completed into the world for many chapters of the story.
