These have a large round chamber with low baffle similar to vintage hard rubber C Melody mouthpieces. Unlike the vintage C Melody mouthpieces, this one has very playable tip openings 3 (. 075), 4 (. 080), 5 (. 085) and 6 (. 090). It is also designed to use modern tenor reeds.
