Art Deco 5.07 Carat Ceylon Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1920 favourite The gemstone displays a richA sublime antique sapphire solitaire ring. The sapphire in the centre certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sir Lanka) displays a rich and vivid blue with an even saturation. The stone is secured in a beautiful platinum collet featuring six split claws and fine curved detailing in the gallery. Ten (five each side) eight cut diamonds are set in the milgrained shoulders leading to a slender platinum shank. Currently size M 1 2 (UK)
