WW1 era, 72nd Seaforth Highlander's Cap Badge Misc Tactical looks like THE/WHITHEAD & HOAGCEF era. Badge of the 72nd Seaforth Highlanders, type worn prior to WW1 and during WW1. White metal with slightly different metal number 72 attached between horns. The lugs have been replaced with long lugs, rather poorly, using great amount of solder. Shows slight dark staining to the right side, I would say from heat of applying the solder. I think someone was trying to make a Sporran or Pouch badge and replaced the lugs, the number is from a later
