No moisture is added during any part of the process. Its then weighed out and put into an xls a style bag and sealed. One dry pound of coconut coir will hydrate to 7 10 pounds wet depending on the field capacity preference of the consumer. The 5 pounds of dry coco will hydrate to 35 50lbs wet depending on field capacity
