This rocky block is planted to "old school" clones of Pommard, Mt. Eden, clones 9 & 115 and Calera. This is the finest Pinot noir Valley View has ever made. Aged fifteen months in once used French oak, the aromas of ripe black cherry, strawberry jam and spicy plums burst from the glass, the sweet fruit flavors lead to a long, well structured finish.
