This is a fabulous 1970s Leonard done in a beautiful silk jersey in a deep red with hand painted gold and azure flowers painted onto ii

worked over the back and front of the dress

Note that this did have a YSL label but it was lost during the dry cleaning process

I love that the inner dress is entirely separate and really gives you two caftans in one

All the rhinestones are present in the buttons and they are a true white and black on a gold colored base

It is just a spectacular example of his work. The same dress is part of the permanent collection at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and that one was displayed in the 2013 exhibit "Hippie Chic.
