The skirt is very high waisted - it is formed to hug the torso to just under the bust in a tight sheath and then cascades out in a stylized version of its earlier fifties contemporaries

The snap that closes and holds the handle in place has some of its paint worm off

There is a slit on either side that goes up 17" from the bottom hem

It has a very unusual double side zipper set above and below the waistline and zipping toward each other

You can definitely use it for the boudoir but it could also be layered over other pieces for a bit of perfect antiquity for the evening
