湘南・鵠沼で活動する藍染め職人集団「LITMUS」との協業商品のリリースです。リトマスが行う”藍染灰汁醗酵建て（あくはっこうだて）”は藍の葉から作られた”すくも”という染料を使い、天然の素材のみで醗酵させながら藍液を作り出して染めつけるという、日本に古くから伝わる染色技法です。 緑色の藍の葉から何ヶ月もかけて”すくも”を作り、藍を建て、そして日々手入れしながら生まれる藍の青。 その色は職人たちの多大なる労力と時間をかけようやく生み出されます。 この染色技法は、自然の作用に頼りながら行われるため、同じように染めても生まれてくる藍の色はそれぞれの表情を持ち、どれ一つとして同じものはありません。
