Description

This sampler contains straight cross stitch and 4-sided stitches

A wonderful find for our 250th anniversary - an American sampler stitched in 1776

Sampler worked all in black with both straight cross stitches as well as four-sided stitches

This is a reproduction of the oldest sampler in my collection - Both the model and original have a soft color scheme

Sally Speakman - A Quaker Pincushion This sampler contains straight crossThe front of this pincushion is a reproduction of one that Sally Speakman, a Quaker, made in the late 1800's. The back of the pincushion is an adaptation I made using a Quaker alphabet from an Ackworth sampler I own I also added part of the floral border to the back to match the front. A quick stitch, perfect for your sewing area or as a gift for a friend!
