Raw Milk Silos damaged a stretch of the cityRaw milk silos inside the derelict Peters Creameries Pty Ltd factory at Chatham, their curved metal surfaces streaked with rust and decades of residue. The factory opened in November 1939 and ran a steam driven dairy plant with a capacity of 1,000 gallons of milk per hour, drawing supply from farms across the Manning River valley by boat and road. Part of the Peters' Ice Cream Factory series.
