The collar is high and also detailed with ermine and under that are three huge knotted loops that each end with over-sized fabric covered buttons

Onto this has been sewn on and a quarter inch ribbon that has been sharply knife pleated

The top is that typical late 60s hostess gown silhouette - covered but with the sleeves left semi sheer and cuffed so they billow slightly and with a bit of a plunge at the neck that you can make deeper by not doing up the hidden hook & eye closures
