These very early door pulls we have remade with a special coil spring and a piece of strengthened wire which we then cover with the appropriate coloured vinyl as can be seen here

They can be quite difficult to fit around the binnacle as they are curved into position and held in place by the material flap behind the draught excluder and the plastic binnacle itself
